Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our premium Japanese matcha.

Where is your matcha sourced from?

All of our matcha is exclusively sourced from sustainable organic farms in Uji, Kyoto, and Shizuoka, Japan, ensuring the highest ceremonial grade quality.

How should I store my matcha to keep it fresh?

To maintain vibrant color and flavor, store your matcha in its original airtight tin in a cool, dark place. For maximum freshness, we recommend keeping it in the refrigerator after opening.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, MatchaJP ships worldwide. International delivery typically takes 7-14 business days depending on the destination and customs processing.

Is your matcha tested for radiation and heavy metals?

Absolutely. Every batch of our matcha undergoes rigorous third-party laboratory testing for radiation, heavy metals, and pesticides to ensure it meets strict safety standards.

What is the difference between Ceremonial and Culinary grade?

Ceremonial grade is made from the youngest tea leaves and is intended to be whisked with water for a delicate flavor. Culinary grade has a bolder profile, making it perfect for lattes, smoothies, and baking.
